My Newbery+Authors+Classics Challenge List

Background Items for this Challenge

Challenge Part 0: Newbery Prediction

The actual first step of my challenge, which recurs each year, is to predict the Newbery or at the least to have already read the winner and honors before they are announced. (i.e. "before they were cool.") I'm not going to account for that on this page, so on to the next part of the challenge...

Challenge Part II: Authors and Classics

In this section I will list and link to selected author bibliographies and non-Newbery classics I am working my way through. This list will grow and evolve as I take on new authors and other new titles by authors already on the list. Basically this is my attempt to augment and modify my Newbery challenge by giving myself the ability to study the other non-Newbery-winning books written by Newbery authors, as well as books by other authors I’m interested in exploring who never won a Newbery for whatever reason (more often than not because they were British and/or they were publishing pre-Newbery.)
